General overview
Maxximum Media Inc. ("Maxximum Media") recognizes the importance of an individual’s right to keep personally identifiable information (“PII”) private. PII means information about an identifiable individual; in other words, it is information by which the identity of an individual could be deduced, such as, residential address and telephone number, email address, product preferences and other personal information. It does not include name, position or title, business address or business telephone number of an employee of an organization. It also excludes specified publicly available information, such as information listed in a telephone directory.
Maxximum Media’s business involves the sales of services on a business-to-business basis. As such, business information is preferred over PII for all business-to-business transactions.
This Privacy Policy explains how Maxximum Media will collect, use, disclose and store the PII you provide us when you use business-to-business services; when you complete a customer survey; or when you access our website or communicate with us electronically.
1 Consent
Your access to our website and/or products and/or services signifies your consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your PII in the manner described in this Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time. Maxximum Media reserves the right to revise this Privacy Policy, without notice, by updating this webpage. Your continued use of this website and/or services after revisions are made, constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. Please check this webpage for the most current version of the Privacy Policy.
2 Links to third party sites
Our electronic and online products or services may contain links to other third party websites which are not owned or operated by Maxximum Media. While we try to link only to sites that share our similar standards, objectives and respect for privacy, these links are provided as a convenience only and do not imply an endorsement of the linked site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any such third party websites, including such websites’ use of any PII that you may provide to them. We strongly encourage you to always be aware of the Internet sites you are browsing and their privacy policies. Maxximum Media cannot, and does not, assume responsibility for the privacy or information policies, practices or actions of any third parties.
3 Collection and use of PII
When you use our services, or participate in surveys, forums or discussion groups (when made available), Maxximum Media may ask you to provide certain information about yourself and the company you work for, including contact data, email addresses, product preferences, payment information and other relevant marketing data. While some of the information requested is optional, some activities require the mandatory disclosure of certain information. If you choose not to provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity.
We use the PII that you provide to:
email newsletters and bulletins to you;
contact you about product promotions, upgrades, renewals, changes to products or content;
process purchases;
respond to your enquiries and offer client support; and,
contact you about your account.
If you tell us in writing or by email that you wish to opt out of any communications from Maxximum Media, we will respect your request. However, because we will occasionally need to send you certain messages that are important to your use of the website or our products and services (such as system status updates or order confirmations), we reserve the right to contact you in such circumstances. As such, you will not be able to "opt out" of receiving such messages.
The PII that you provide to Maxximum Media will not be made available to any third parties or disclosed, except as described above or when we believe is required by law, without your prior permission.
If third party contractors are used to process any of the information collected or to provide marketing services on behalf of Maxximum Media, we will ensure that these providers are bound by contract to comply with applicable privacy laws.

We take reasonable precautions to keep the information that we collect secure, including organizational, physical and electronic precautions. Maxximum Media has appropriate security measures in place on website to allow for credit card transactions if applicable.
However, it is important to note that any information transmitted over the Internet can be intercepted by third parties. As such, Maxximum Media cannot, and does not, assume any liability for the theft, loss, misuse or alteration of any information transmitted over the Internet. We strongly recommend that you do not send us any confidential or sensitive information, such as credit card data, via email.
5 Retention of your PII
When your PII is no longer required for the purposes set out above, we will destroy or render this information non-identifiable (that is, alter the information so that it cannot be traced back to, or associated with, a specific individual).
